I have had my new truck with the 3.0 just a week has 200 miles, starter out at 10 mpg now saying 12 mpg I sure hope it gets better I tried changing the drive mode to normal but it's not listed . Traded in a 2021 with 5.7 and 25k miles

Long trips on the highway get me a touch over 24 pretty easily. Around town (traffic lights, hills, 40mph max short trips) is anywhere from 10-16, depending on idle time and distance. If you're using auto start to warm up during the cold days, then it'll tank the mpg with so few miles driven. I took a 100-mile ride to pick up family from an airport and got 25.5 once. There are tons of factors. Overall, it is better than my previous 2 hemi rams by a decent margin

2021 with 25k on it? why?
the only way i would have traded it is if it had ET even then i would have kept it. paid off and good to go. my 2019 5.7 is 2wd i get 24 highway regularly. with effort running 67 on a 100 mile round trip i got 24.7 according to the dash. i can kill that depending on how i drive it and idling.

I'm getting 18mpg average on my 1st 700mi doing a 40 mile commute mostly highway interstate at 75+mph and some rushhour traffic.
