Hello, I am new here and have decided to buy a Ram after having GM vehicles previously. I have a 2020 Limited with 33k miles on it. I am having issues with the touchscreen as it appears to be defective. Everything appears visually, but the touchscreen is not-responsive at all whenever the truck is cold or not at operating temps. I have checked for software updates, disconnected fuses and battery, and checked to see if it is anything else. It appears to be defective and needs replaced. This comes after having to replace the dash which was delaminating and the rear window which had a leak. I am out of the original 3yr/36k basic warranty and ram does not seem to care about helping to have this resolved. They offered to do a “cost assistance claim” on the dash however the rear leak and uconnect system I have had little help with from Chrysler and Ram. Any solutions as to what may be the issue?

The dash has not yet been replaced the part is coming in next week. The screen seemed to work fine for the first few weeks and then suddenly stopped working. I’m hoping Ram doesn’t make me cover the bill for a defective part from manufacture, as I’ve already had to do that for the rear window replacement and the dash.

If the radio is delaminating then you have a good change at making them replace it after warranty if you raise hell. I've seen it work more than a few times as they know their units have screen issues. If that fails we can fix what ever is wrong with the unit, it just takes sending us the unit for diagnostics.
