I have 2020 ram 1500. 3.92 gear ratio. Driving in 4wd auto in winter. Mds turned off. 85% city driving. Remort start for 5 minutes daily. Fox 2.5 inch coilovers all around with falken wildpeak at4w's 325/65/r18. Temperature does go down to - 35F (-30C) in winter time. Truch has 39k miles (63000 km) Im averaging about 8.9MPG

Well there's definitely something wrong with your vehicle or your driving. We basically have the same vehicle and I'm getting 15.3.

are you just letting the truck computer do the millage or are you figuring it out yourself manually?

Truck computer calculations are very accurate. Maybe manual calculations will give me a little better number

It depends on various factors. Winter fuel, extreme cold, city driving, full time 4wd, mds off etc.

I Drive 52 miles a day round trip for work, 2020 1500 laramie short box, 5.7, 3.92, MDS always off, Bridgestone blizzak tires @36psi I average 14.5mpg. That with probably 85% 2wd, 10% 4wd and 5% auto 4wd

Boy I'm at about 10.5 and that driving like a old lady.

I have a 2020 5.7 hemi with 3.92 gearing, blizzaks in stock 18” size. I’m driving about 10 miles in the city each way on my commute, pretty much no highway. Temperature here is about 10-20F. I’m getting about 12-13 mpg. Even my wife’s outback gets around 16-17 mpg in these conditions.
I notice that temperature is a huge factor with fuel consumption. When it gets cold to -10F, I get significantly less mileage. So I think it’s expected if you deal with -35F and run oversized tires.
