Adjusting Comfort Activation Temperatures

you can do this in a chevy right in the vehichle user settings in the radio. simple on or off for seat and wheel heat on auto start and the same for vented. so easy in a Gm and really miss this in my 25 ram.
I'm not talking about the existing settings of turning it on and off. I'm talking about setting the temps that these are activated at. You can already turn them on and off. But this thread isn't about that, it's about adjusting the activation temps.

My 2025 1500 says "Based on the selected comfort activation temp, the driver's Heated/vented seats & steering wheel will activate with vehicle start."
From what I'm reading in this forum the "selected comfort activation temp" was selected by the factory and I can not change or view it. This makes no sense at all.
I've had the truck a month or so. overall I like it. but these weird options and the terrible controls using the giant touch display are incredibly frustrating. trying to set the heated seat level, or turn it off on the passenger side while driving down the road is distracting, very cumbersome, and frustrating.

And I have to have the high beams on all the time for the auto dim to work? It seems at least a generation behind the controls in my wife's 2022 Expedition

It's not auto dim, it's auto high beams. Hence the reason you have to have the high beams on.

you make a good point, I'm just saying you don't have to do that in other vehicles I've driven that were made since 2020 (and some before). I think it would be nice to have the option on the settings screen to have the auto high beams whenever the auto headlights are on and then be able to turn on the high beams, over ride the auto high beams, by pushing the high beam stick forward. That would be my preference, but I can understand it might not be everybody's.
