Headlight animation

Has anyone had a resolution from ram or your dealer. On the level 2 group. On the rebel not having the headlight animation. Or the proper lights for it. Even though it’s listed on the widow sticker. If so what was it

What is this "headlight animation" you speak of?

It requires you truck to have the projector style headlights. And. Led tail lights. Then when you lock or unlock your truck the headlights and taillights. Will do an animation loop. You can view it online. And I think there might also be a thread In here that has a video of it.

Oh, I see what you mean. I didn't know rebels got the limited style headlights as an option. You should be able to enable that using AlfaOBD.

Yeah. Thats the issue. It’s supposed to have to light but don’t. It has the reflector style led front and the incandescent rear. So it appears that the dealer will have to swap. The lights

It's not that easy. The Rebel has a different grill and if those lights aren't an option on the Rebel, you can just swap them. What makes you think you should have them?

It’s listed on my window sticker. And. Also when you build one on dodges site it’s listed u der the level 2 package which is what’s on my truck

I have had truck since sept. Guess they don't have a leg to stand on in this situation? I've considered the cash back, the truck is pretty nice, but I hate the moon roof, blasting heat on my head on a hot sunny day. I don't have more details yet. also, no Rebel level 2's being built until 2025.. so the wait for a special order may be long. I would do the limited, but don't want lower MPG and must use premium. I guess I regret this purchase entirely now.

Mine sharing how much cash back they are offering?

So what did you have to do to get this. Mine didn’t come with the animated lights either even though window sticker says it has it.

You have to have LED Tail Lights and headlights with the daytime running light signatures. No Laramies or Rebels have them.

There are two threads about this already. Can't easily swamp them over as the wiring is missing. You will need to talk to your dealer and Ram to see what they can do. More likely just give you a credit.

Stellantis is no help. Dealer has been trying to help and they agree their entire fleet of Rams that should have the animation lights, dont

im having same issue brought 2025 Ram Laramie window sticker says it has animated headlights and taillights but the truck has neither. What did others do to resolve this?

Open up a case about this. Took my truck back to dealership showing the window sticker and they are saying truck should have those lights. Either they gonna install the lights or they will have to compensate me m!

Anyone receive any kind of credit for this? I feel like owners should get together on a class action of some sort. I can remember years ago when Dodge didn’t change the payload/towing capacity on Dakota RTs and they bought a lot of trucks back.

New to this forum, Hey everyone! Same issue with my new Laramie and trying to either get a refund or have them installed. The animated lights were listed on the sticker and think of it as a contract. I will keep you all posted.

I opened a case with Ram and they've been trying to get in contact with my salesman about this issue and the salesman has been trying to dodge Ram. Everytime Ram calls, he's either not available, he's busy, on vacation or not in today. Now Ram is trying to email him to see if they get a response from him. I've even messaged the salesman on Facebook with no response. I've also mentioned to the dealership that I am not blaming anyone at the dealer for the lights not being installed, the factory screwed up so there's no ill feelings towards the dealership. But after several weeks of trying to get in touch with my salesman this is starting to p*ss me off. I've bought many vehicles from this dealer and salesman, it might be time to look for another dealership when my lease is up in 3 years.

I'm surprised you got that far with the case. I opened a case after calling in and they basically closed it instantly stating it's not warranty related and they won't assist. Now my dealer is dodging me and not returning calls and it makes it tougher with them being 2hrs away. They definitely make it tough to address this issue.

Funny after all these months Ram still advertises front and rear animated lights as part of the Rebel level 2 option package on the Canadian build & price website. I know Ram Canada and US are separate entities but you’d think they’d share some info about important stuff.

No, they actually offered it to me, I wanted the lights!
