I do not own a ram and am doing some research on them. I like Ram's because of the rear 4 link and factory air ride. crew cab, short box...

Along those lines, how is the Rebel different from a Laramie or limited with air suspension? The Rebel is supposed to be 1 inch higher, so it's gotta be one of the following:
1) same suspension shocks/struts with just more air for a higher ride height
2) some sort of spacer added to keep the Limited shocks in the same sweet spot of travel.
3) Different suspension part numbers all together? I do not think this is the case based on looking up part numbers on mopar parts, but I'm a noob at mopar and that site.

My end goal is to put the truck down on bumps stops for entry exit mode. Then ride at a "new normal" ride height that is 1" less than Rebel factory. i.e., more like a Limited or maybe bit lower ride height. I plan to accomplish this with modified sensor bars/levers. and then re-align the truck after wheels/tires.

Which means I am buying an off road Rebel for the looks and probably wont put it in the mud. I have a Wrangler for that. Basically, the night edition Laramie costs too much and is very rare, so I am doing an end around by getting a Rebel. haha Any advice is welcome.

You can set the air suspension to use aero or normal as standard ride height. it will go to aero on the fwy and go back up to normal once you slow. unfortunately the Rebel does not have the auto easy entry when you park, you have to manually do it every time, its a pain.

The Rebel shocks are different also. They use bilstien shocks front and back with the air suspension. Yes the Rebel does sit 1 ich taller and its controlled by the BCM and air suspension links.

You could also just change the links on them so it's lower in every setting.

So when you enter your Rebel, you have to lower the truck with a Fob? Or just lower truck Like I do manual when you arrive to destination? Also can you get or do have the HO Hurricane in the Rebel?

I have a ‘22 Longhorn Limited with the Off-Road Group. I’ve had air ride before on previous Rams. The Off Road Group gives me 4 levels instead of 5 that my other non Off Road Group trucks had.
This truck I have now is 1” higher when it is in the “normal” mode. To get this height on my previous trucks I needed to set it to “Off Road 1”. Only thing happens when you drive over I believe 20-25 mph, it will lower to “normal”.
You actually have Off Road 1 & Off Road 2 settings. Neither of those can be used to drive down the road at regular speeds. So now, Off Road group allows me to drive in basically in the off road 1 level ( 1” higher ) I believe the Rebel will operate the same. If you want custom settings, you could get adjustable links, but you will give up some ride comfort.

I have had three Rams, all Laramie's with 4 Corner air suspension. Off-road 1 Height, Off Road 2 Height, Normal Height, Aero Height and Entry/Exit. With that said, none of them goes to entry/exit automatically to include the 23 model I have now. I have to select the Entry/Exit button and push it two times from Normal height just before upon arrival destination for exit mode. When driving, when I exceed 62 Mph, the truck will drop from normal height to Aero Height by itself. When my speed goes below to 35 mph, it will go Normal height by its self. Off roads, both 1 and 2 heights must be selected by the driver below the speed of 45 MPH to enter the road heights and will stay in those positions until speeds are exceeded past 45MPH. After 45 MPH, it will default to normal height. If you have E-locker and engaged with will stay on until 45 MPH and dis-engage after 45 MPH itself as well but will return automatically if you go below 45 MPH again leaving it engaged. It was my understanding the Rebel works the same way on all rebels. However, I'm not sure since I have never ridden in or owned a Rebel. I was asking if the Rebel was the same?
