You can use factory springs from a crew cab and it should lower the rear 2”. It should also retain the same comfort level as well. Unless you have air suspension that’s a little different.
Yes the standard springs off a truck like mine are shorter then the rebels. The rebel gets a factory 2" lift. Next year I plan on upgrading to a Rebel and doing this exact thing as I don't care about height, I like more of the leveled look. Are the springs different?? The rebel is a crew cab also .

OK, But are the shocks the same spring rate?? Will it be as stiff as the Rebel shocks? Or will it sag in the rear with the shorter shocks?? thxYou can use factory springs from a crew cab and it should lower the rear 2”. It should also retain the same comfort level as well. You would just be changing out the spring, you can use your current shock without an issue. The spring is what holds up the weight of the truck and the shock just absorbs the bumps and imperfections of the road. if you lower the rear, you will likely be leveled front to rear so if you add load in the rear, of course it will sag more then the front. Hope this answers your question.OK, But are the shocks the same spring rate?? Will it be as stiff as the Rebel shocks? Or will it sag in the rear with the shorter shocks?? thx
