I am looking to replace the halogen assemblies with LED. I wouldn't mind OEM but having difficulty finding them in Houston/Dallas area but really only looking on FB Marketplace. I have looked at the Form Lighting and Morimoto brands online but no idea which is better, if there is any difference. I had found some nice OEM Night Edition one's in Ohio for $650 but going to be $200 to ship. If I'm going to spend that, I'd rather try to get something new and even better than OEM. I really like the price point of the Morimoto XB Hybrid since they are 20% off for $639 currently.

Any info or guidance appreciated. Or if anyone has some OEM Night Edition for sale in my area let me know

hey, bubba! i actually live near the Houston/ Dallas area. I didn't replace the whole headlight assembly, but i have the same exact truck and decided to replace my oem headlight bulbs with these:

I know the price on 'em just for the pairs of bulbs are stoopid, but I've had em for about 6 months now and have had absolutely no issues with them.
They're super bright and pretty much have matched or surpassed the quality and brightness that newer cars on the road that have oem LED headlights. Good luck, bo!

thanks @drecortez001 I've had LED bulbs before from Amazon and they were crazy bright and people flashed their lights at me for it. How are these? bright but not over-whelming to everyone else?

It's not the brightness, it's the focal point in the reflector. You cannot just put LED's in a halogen reflector. Has been explained many times.

Fifth gen HD truck, I had the OEM LEDs and put in the Morimoto lights. On low beam, not much difference. High beams seem considerably brighter. But I do get less people flashing high beams when coming the other way. Almost never with the Morimotos. The optics are just that good. No experience with Form lighting though.

As an aside, I have the OEM LED lights. They're the standard ones, not the projectors. I'm in the Atlanta. area. $500 if somebody wants to pick them up. The box is big enough that I'm not interested in shipping them....

I did the bulbs that were recommended by lasfit. I also adjusted them down a little bit. They look great and have yet to be flashed by oncoming.

I've had form lights for over a year and no issues. I've had multiple morimotto hid kits and they never lasted longer than 6 months
