Recently got some aftermarket wheels and tires, got the tires on the wheels and balanced and thats when the shop told me my OEM lug nuts wouldnt work on the new wheels (wheels are basically method 305s). They told me to get aftermarket lug nuts, but I'm having trouble figuring out what I need, any help?

Several options available. You can use search on here to find posts about the different options. I bought the ones from Gorilla.

Do you know which ones you bought?
im also in the market for new lugs the ones i got with my wheel and tires from customoffsets are ashy and already rusting (4-5 months later) ill problly get the gorilla ones.

most after market wheels will require the longer lugs nuts as well.

We would need to know what wheels you have to know what lug nuts will work on them. We have M14x1.5 threads

watch out for Amazon lug nuts most rust pretty bad

They are very similar to method 305's, but I'm going back to the shop and hopefully they can give me all the information I need. View attachment 188153
Nice yea you will want to use the long or extended lugs

I have read most of the posts here for black lug nuts and have settled on McGard acorn style for my OEM Limited rims. But I'm confused on which M14 X 1.5 model to get of these two bulge sets. Need to get these on the wish list for Christmas and appreciate any input.

Either one will work, the only difference is the length.

Back on the F150 forums, the favorite aftermarket replacements, often for bulging acorn nuts, similar to RAMs as well, was Gorilla. I bought a black replacement set, seemed good quality. I got them from American Truck.
