Just wondering how many people got the 25 rebel with the animated lights listed but don't have them

Count me in, its listed on the window sticker, no animation. I got towing tech package, tech group, trailer tow group and don't have any cameras other than reverse. over $77k and little things like this suck to be missing.

i just brought this to my selling dealers attention, told them I want what I paid for or don't want truck.

they are calling "Mopar" tomorrow to get it resolved.

I am now being asked to return the truck so service can install the missing items (head and tail lamps). I don't have high confidence.

How is the transmission on the rebel, are the shifts a little off?

So service Mgr told me it says they are supposed to be there. They called Mopar and Mopar agrees, they are listed and are supposed to be there. dropping off tomorrow to ensure the sales code isn't missing from the programming, then verify the as-built headlights/taillights are correct or not.

So, none of the level 2 Rebels have these lights. Mopar offered me $ back and they will not be able to install the new lights without replacing the front of the truck I am told. Option 2 is unwind the deal and buy a different truck.

I am likely to do a customer order after this.

Are you sure that the animated lights aren't the lights that shine down on the ground when you open the doors at night? I was having a problem with them not coming on when I put my hand behind the front door handles or when I started the truck using the key fob. There is a button on the headlight switch to turn this on and off, it's the bottom button on the headlight switch. When turned on, it should look like the picture below.

Did you already purchase the truck? Just curious about the unwind the deal part. I'm in the same boat as you with the Laramie Level 2.

I have had truck since sept. Guess they don't have a leg to stand on in this situation? I've considered the cash back, the truck is pretty nice, but I hate the moon roof, blasting heat on my head on a hot sunny day. I don't have more details yet. also, no Rebel level 2's being built until 2025.. so the wait for a special order may be long. I would do the limited, but don't want lower MPG and must use premium. I guess I regret this purchase entirely now.

I just took delivery on mine yesterday. There's no headlight or taillight animation at all. I also don't really care that much. The lights are bright and look ok. I wish they were what the Limited or Tungsten has but they aren't. I will say that the puddle lights are cool though! I drove my truck 520 miles home today from TN to VA. No issues thus far. Ran great on 87 octane.

My suggestion is take it to the dealer and ask about the lights, it seems it will be worth your while.

my 2 cents

Just went to dealer today. Sales manager had no clue. Says he will check into it. Plan to go back next week.

I am declining the cash offer from Mopar and doing a custom order, returning this truck. This could become a large issue with Rebel/Laramie owners that paid for the level 2 package. Looks like limited and RHO are only trucks getting these lights.

Are you talking about the light that spells ram out on the ground?

You must have a good dealer. The dealership I got mine from said they can't help and gave me the number for customer care, and after waiting on hold for 30 min, that customer care said i had to call RAM customer care, and gave me a number for a spanish customer care center that forwarded me to a voicemail....

I went to the GM and told him they sold me a truck missing equipment listed on the build codes. If you haven't escalated to senior management or the owner, I'd push harder on them. They contacted Mopar directly. That is literally customer service. Option B, go live stream in front of the dealership and tell the world they sell vehicles missing equipment.

Does anyone have a video of this animation?

I've looked- can't find what it's supposed to be. My '25 rebel has it listed...but I don't see anything out of the ordinary when it's lights up.
