Exhaust leak, and which gaskets?

I replaced my muffler recently and I noticed on start up that there is a leak (visually could see water dripping and you could hear the leak under the truck) at what I can assume is a donut gasket and possibly further up, at the flange coming off of the right manifold. In the picture attached, it would be where the number 2 and 3 are located. I think I have found the gaskets for #3 (I am going to replace the drivers and passengers side together - Fel-Pro 61240 and 61710) but anyone have any info on the gasket at the #2 location? I am assuming it's a donut? It isn't even listed on the Mopar website. Actually, none of these are.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Several members have had broken flange bolt (#17 & #5). Actually, it is a bolt and threaded flange, most are drilling out the flange and using a bolt and nut to repair it. Do a search for broken flange bolt if you would like more info.

Thanks but that's not where I am leaking. I already removed that to place the new muffler.

Quick update. When to the RAM dealer and guess what they told me? There is no gasket at the manifolds to the exhaust piping, nor is there a donut gasket where the 2 pipes merge into one. The only gasket they show as being present in the entire exhaust system is the one flange right before the muffler? But NAPA online does show 2 different gaskets at the manifold output? I ordered them and will possibly try replacing this weekend. Stay tuned......

There is not a gasket at the manifold to y-pipe connection. The manifold is tapered and the y-pipe is flared to seal at that point.

The dealer said as much but that implies that a leak is as simple as tightening up the bolts? Assuming there isn't a broken bolt or manifold? What about where there would normally be a donut? When the Y becomes 1?

The only gaskets/seals are at the head to manifold and muffler flange. There isn't a gasket at the y-pipe to mid pipe, its flanged like the manifold.

So I’m also experiencing a leak. Mine is at the flange connection just ahead of the muffler.

Since there isn’t a gasket at this location, is the general consensus that these bolts simply need tightened? Mine is spitting moisture on startup, and it definitely sounds pretty rough.

It definitely looks like there’s tabs from a gasket in there, but I also can’t find one on the parts diagram.

Ha! Status update!

This project just got less fun.

Very common issue, go to the dealer get a new gasket. Drill/melt the old bolts and replace.
