Installed my painted to match door moldings today. I ordered them from sportwing and really happy with the product and the color match! 39413923-A7B2-405E-A1A1-00A471CA5C63.jpeg 8F42F2D6-E5D4-471A-BA6C-F6A7F5EEDFD4.jpeg A308A3CC-74BD-454D-915E-284FA7261B43.jpeg

Looks great. For style only... or looking for door-ding protection?

Really nice job. Wouldn’t your step bar take a door hit before the door though?

More than likely for a car, a pickup or suv I figured would need something higher

Any install tips?
I had my body shop coworker help me, just used wax and grease remover and lined the top of them up to the factory body line on the door! On in less than 10 minutes!

Look nice, i just got a door ding a few days ago i parked far back row from walmart door the closest car was 10 parking space down . i come back out a 1995 honda was parked next to me right on the yellow line as soon as i saw the car next i knew i had a ding.(i waited over 45 mins noone came out to the car. the dent is right above the Ram logo on the body line, when to a dent removal they said they couldn't do anything to fix it. it looks like the door was open bang cause the dent and then they left the door open and it rub the clear thur 3 spot.

So here what i'm think to put the modeling strip about the ram logo right on the body line above ram logo and reposition the Ram logo lower.

(a couple days later the car is sitting in the same spot it hasn't moved)
what do you thinK?

Sorry for the bad luck! I think they would be fine going higher!
