Just installed the RC 3.5" lift w/monotube shock and strut upgrade. Very happy with it. After a week of driving shook off a little stiffness, it rides just right. Since I posted about the lift, I thought I'd share some other things I've done as well. Comments and criticism equally welcome!

Thanks for the compliment! And I can say other mounting the tires on the rims, I have done everything myself. There's a certain satisfaction doing some of the typically farmed out jobs, like the suspension lift, myself instead of a shop. Of course, saving the $$ doesn't hurt:) I should have taken a couple of snaps of the sub enclosure and amps. I had to get creative mounting the amps as I didn't want them on the back of the cab behind the rear seats. To hard to get to for adjustments. I also have a 5 farad capacitor tucked in there as well.

I really like the unit. I bought directly from phoenixautomotiveinc.com. Install was pretty easy. They have a couple of YouTube videos detailing wire connections prior to install. One thing; the connection lable reverse camera does not work for the factory rearview camera. There is another yellow input thats not labeled camera, and that one works fine. It may be that my unit was just mislabeled/: Other than that, this thing does it all, and no lockout while in motion!

How long has it been installed? I have alot of issues with my 8.4 where it will not respond to touch or flashes like crazy or just stays black nearly daily I have to do a reset several times just to get it to work. Its sad as its the main thing I hate about my truck and I want to start loving it again so maybe the Phoenix is the answer
