What are the parts involved to change from 3.92 to 3.21 gear ratio 2021 Bighorn Crew cab 5.7L etorque 4X4 I tow 25–30-foot boats and some motorcycle trailers but just occasionally for recreational use. A lot of road trips at 75 or 80 MPH with no trailer. I play with gear ratios in 500HP Turbo Hayabusa's that we build at Blais Cycle Inc. in south Florida to run land speed races and drag racing. Don't want to sell the truck so what will it cost me to do the swap? Anybody

You need to use the search feature. The front axle cannot be changed. You would have to guy a whole new front axle and then change the rear gears. Best to look into a truck with 3.21 gears.

Find someone that wants to swap axles with you. Spend the weekend swapping out parts and drinking a few cold ones.

Not trying to be a clown, so bear with me here.
I had a 2015 with 3.92, drove 75 to 80 unloaded all the time, 2200 RPM w/ 20 inch rims.
On my new 2023 with 3.21, 80MPH is 1800 RPM w/ 22” rims.

Is the issue here an extra MPG being lost on the highway?
At most…that’s, minimal…. What am I missing?

Probably be less work to swap to a 33 gallon tank… but not sure.
