I have had the truck for 1 week with 400 miles on it and the driver seat leather has already loosened up to the point where it is creasing. Anyone else have this issue? Every other vehicle I have had with leather never did this

No issues as of yet. Though my center section is different then yours. Mine is more porous and not patterned.

The passenger seat in my limited has a loose area too. Actually worse than yours.

My passenger seat has a loose area. I’ve seen people with challengers complain about this too. Common issue

Is it something the dealer would take care of or is it one of those "its normal" things?

my issue with stuff like this is more then likely it will not be a factory repair. Be out sourced. Which I’m 50/50 on. The right ppl and they will have it done right. Yet all of us spent a lot of money on these higher end trucks and this is the quality that’s given.
Obviously this is a hand full to the many. I get that. $40-50k+ Level vehicles, come on.

I would atleast document it with your phone sales/service rep.

Usually they will just replace the cover in this case.

Bringing it to the dealership now. Will report back the outcome. My issue is if they look like this not even two weeks old what are they going to be like in a year or two?

My thinking is ASAP. At nothing else documentation.... everyone needs to be aware. I’d even get on ram toolbox app and voice your issue

Will be bringing it back next week as I did not have an appointment but was prompted to by salesman. They have to have a service tech evaluate it to document condition.

Please let us know what the dealership says. I have a Laramie with the vented/heated leather seats and the driver seat is creasing like the OP's pic, but on the sides by the soft fabric.
