Can’t make up my mind bighorn ORG night edition or rebel G/T night edition. Tired of high payments but really want the rebel G/T and of course ram had to take away premium lighting option for 24. Anyone else in the same dilemma having a hard time deciding?

If you are tired of higher payments, the Rebel G/T will still have that compared to the Bighorn. Guess it really boils down to if you want the console shifter or knob on the dash

No more premium lighting option? Those should be standard on all trucks these days.

Wait, are you saying the Rebel no longer comes with projector LED headlights? I've seen pictures of 2024 Rebels and they all had the same headlights as '19 thru '23 models.

You can get LEDs on a Bighorn, I'm driving one.

It looks like you have a '22.
I don't think the option for OEM LED is offered on newer models.
I think I read the led would stay on the BTS editions only but I haven't heard of any new color being announced

I just built one and there is an option for it. What am I missing?

The change is on the 24 models, which has been confirmed on this forum by reputable dealers.

The BYO tool online is only through 2023. Hoping to see the 24 BYO updates sometime before 2025.
Okay gotcha that makes sense, on the '24s. Kinda like getting less cereal in the box for the same price. Prices don't go down, you just get less for your money. Sad times.

That would be funny if it wasn't so true. They never seem to be in a hurry to update the online configurator for the new model year, not to mention it's been known to lie...a lot.

It's worse than that. Number of features decreases but prices go up. Although to be fair, the premium lighting for the Big Horn was an option you paid for, not a feature.

I will just throw my $0.02 in. I had spec'd a '22 BH Backcountry. On my way there to order I got a message about a Rebel that just rolled off the truck. I really didn't want the bigger payment, but drove the Rebel home and have never looked back or regretted.

I don't know if I would have passed had it been a G/T, but I don't care for the console shifter.
