I'll be placing my order for a specific 2019 Crew Cab 4x4 Laramie end of Jan/begin of Feb as my current lease will be ending in April. Will have Off-road and Air Suspension.
I've done alot of research and all it's really done is cause me some confusion. I've seen concern around being too close to the control arm in higher-offset wheel combos, but yet I've also seen several people putting 33/12.5R22s on factory wheels @ +19mm offset. The 305/45R22s I've seen have a section width of about 11.8" compared to the ~12.5 section widths on the 33/12.5s. Based on my calcs, the 22x9.5 +25mm offset wheels I want to get have the wheel sticking in about .5" farther than stock wheels. Additionally, the 305/45s are about .6" wider than the stock 285/45s, which is another .3" wider sticking in.
I've also read some people putting 22x10 +30mm offset wheels on with no suspension rubbing issues. Additionally, wheel/tire configs on websites like Custom Offset, Discount Tire, Tire Rack indicate that 22x9.5 or 22x10 +30mm will "fit" but I'm unclear if that's ultimately true.
What are the thoughts or experiences on 22x9.5 +25mm offset with 305/45R22. If it helps, I'm specifically looking at Motiv 421MB wheels and Yokohama Parada Spec X tires.
