Just picked up the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit Front shocks and the Bilstein 1" lift rear springs and the 5100 Rear shocks. I've not ran the VIN but i'm told the Built To Serve edition trucks have the ORG springs and shocks already installed so I was warned not to go over clip 5 on the front struts. Anyone out there have any experience with this? Thank You.

Yes, don't go over clip 5, unless you change UCAs. And the rear lift springs won't do anything for you, because you already have 1" rear lift springs with the off road group suspension

Thanks for the quick reply, Seems to be some sourcery going on for answers on a gentle lift to clear just a bit bigger tires. Fun truck though.

It's not a matter of uca's. With the Ram orp Bilstein says not to go over clip 5 period. This is 3 inches of lift so you'll want the uca's anyway

Clip 5 on ORP trucks is only 1.7", so not 3"

You sure you got 5100’s and not 6112’s?
5100’s only have 7 positions and no springs.
The 6112’s have 8 positions and come with springs as a kit.

Yes i picked up the 6112, They had a victoria Day special on at Bilstein canada so it was 15% off which seemed decent. The clip in 8 gives it 2"over the stock org. Just curious if i bother chucking some UCA when its all apart

It is possible you may get full travel without them but the only way guarantee full travel is to get aftermarket UCA's.

Great shocks. Much better ride than the 5100's on my 22's and E rated AT's. The spring change front and back made a huge difference in ride quality for me.
So now add in the 1 inch of lift you had with the ORG Springs and that lift is now 3 inches.
As @H2OMAN said, getting aftermarket UCA's will make a difference in the long run.
I'm running Readylft UCA's and am happy with the results so far. Good luck brother 🤙

Can't seem to buy just the UCA and will need to buy the whole Levelling kit. Are RC just as good in this case. I've never added aftermarket UCA before on a truck.

There are dozens of uca's to buy out there without the whole kit.
Yup, what he said. I just happened to part out a ReadyLift leveling kit and the UCA’s got left behind. Zone, Rough Country, Icon…do a search on the forum, you’ll find a butt load of info, brother👍
