I took my truck to have it weighed and also took it out to set the gain and test the towing of the truck.
My truck had a curb weight of 5760 lbs. That's with a full tank of gas, me, and my 75 lb weight distribution hitch in the receiver. That gives me an actual payload of 1340 lbs. The sticker payload is 1749 lbs.
The truck towed pretty well but it was windy and I still had to tighten up the bolts where the anti-sway/ wd bars attach to the hitch. I felt it a little bit but nothing to be concerned with. I ended up setting the gain to 9. I thought that was high but I guess it is what it is.
16 more days until our first trip.
