the more I read here, the more I am afraid to start using it. Also when you fiddle with the Tazer software, and unplug it because of an issue, who knows it will remain like that even after unplugged the tazer again. Or suddenly after a week you get a strange error that you can not solve or so, even by resetting back to default or unmarry and unplug the device.

If you are that scared about technology and using the TazerDT, it's best you just not do it.

I love mine. So many great features. Worth every dime.

I need mine because I have morimoto headlights and need to set my location to USA and turn off DRLs. So it's definitely worth it and I won't be getting rid of it.

But it's definitely buggy and frustrating to use at times, buyer beware. Once it's setup, you don't have to touch it, unless you have the dealer uploading changes to your truck.

I've never felt mine was "buggy" and have had zero issues with it. I have no qualms going in and making any changes I want. I haven't updated to the most recent firmware but that's mainly because it doesn't offer any new features I would use

You have UC4, correct? My last Ram had 4 and the Tazer was great. They still have issues to work out with the UC5. I hope they do (soon), because I appreciate what it offers.

Person I was replying to has a 19 according to his signature, so UC4 as well

Yes I had that for a bit before removing the pedal monster. Nothing wrong with the setup, I just actually ended up preferring stock pedal feel after some time with it.

This may be a rookie question...in all the videos ZAutomotive posts they are using a TRX. When he sets his to amber DRL, he gets yellow above and below the headlight. When I do it on my non TRX, I only get yellow above the headlight. Is that a difference between the TRX and non-TRX, or is this an example of buggy software? For what its worth, when I hit the unlock button on my fob, I only get a yellow flash above the headlight, too.

Only TRX has both.

I have a Limited and have it set to amber turn drl and notice when my etorque kicks on at a stop the white below comes back on. Once moving again white it goes back off. Does yours do the same?

Mine does exactly the same. I have a Longhorn etorque. You should send an email to [email protected] and describe the issue. If enough of us report it, they may get it fixed.

My drivers side mirror puddle light comes on in this condition then goes out after accelerating. As long as Auto Stop/Start is disabled I never see this.

Pretty sure this is not a Tazer issue, but a function of the vehicle shutting off (Auto Start/Stop).
