What is "level ride feature"?Does anyone actually USE the level ride feature?
Air bag suspension drops the truck or lifts it into two off road positionsWhat is "level ride feature"?
Yea, the truck has like 5 selectable heights. Entry, Aerodynamic, Normal, OR1 and OR2. I use it all the time. Great when loading and unloading the bed or helping someone into the truck. The max height is great for cleaning gthe wheel wells.Air bag suspension drops the truck or lifts it into two off road positions
Oh so you mean the actual air suspension...Air bag suspension drops the truck or lifts it into two off road positions
Yes about aero and normal. Can anyone advise what the speed limitations are for the various modes? I am assuming Aero and normal is valid and operational at any speed, but what about the offroad modes?
Yes about aero and normal.
Offroad 1 is around 45 mph and offroad 2 is only like 20.
It's a little funky though because you can drive I think 5 mph faster then it lets you engage it. IE if you can put it in offroad 1 at 40 but drive 45
It also doesn't affect your alignment so if you pop it in offroad 2 and try to take a 90 degree turn in the city tires are going to rub and it's going to be very awkward to drive other then straight forward.
I can check the exact numbers tomorrow if you really need to know. But you can't really drive around in the offroad settings.
You can also drive 5-10 mph in entry\exit which can be useful in some parking garages in major cities. Thanks and no need to check, was just looking for directional info. Thanks again.
Definitely worth re-posting.I've posted this before, but it's worth posting again. When parking in a lot where I can't park away from other vehicles, I raise the suspension to the OR2 position and deploy the power steps. This helps reduce the number of door dings from cars since their doors don't clear the steps, and the steps stick out beyond the door skins of our truck. It doesn't do much against other trucks and most SUV's, so it's not foolproof. But it does help.
You must not ever go to Costco thenDefinitely worth re-posting.
I never thought of that, but I also don't park near other cars ever
No Costcos near me just BJs.You must not ever go to Costco then![]()
Mike, I've tried that but my recollection is that I don't have a setting to deploy the steps, only to prevent them from deploying...
