Anybody ran either of these sizes on stock 22 wheels? I have a Limited on order and likely will level with either the revel kit with UCA’s or the ready lift kit. The Toyo AT3 is at the top of the list as the 3 peak rating will be needed for snow about half of the year. For those that went into the 285/55/22, how much of a decrease have you noticed if any in ride quality?

I put 305/45R22 Toyo ATIII‘s on my ’22 Limited and am very happy with them.

How do they ride / sound on road compared to stock? Also any rubbing on stock suspension?

I installed 285/55/22 Toyo AT3 - just a bit louder than stock, but great in the snow and the look nice and beefy

Looks awesome, and I’ve heard great things on the snow performance. How does it handle bumps, potholes, etc? A bit rougher overall?

@Josh24 also, I bought a Used 265/70R18 Toyo Open Country A/T III on eBay and mounted it on the spare wheel and got rid of the temporary tire.

@Ram-a-Kin one other question I just thought of. How close are you to hitting the UCA’s at full lock? I know you mentions no rubbing but I imagine it has to be fairly close clearing with the 305’s and stock offset.

I can slide my hand (sideways) between the tire and the UCA.

Does it ride smoothly? Have you noticed any issues or major changes?

Seems to ride more smoothly and steering response is quicker. I figure it due to the slightly taller and wider tire t

Doesn’t look like you have a lift or leveling kit, correct? The 55s just give that extra height the 305/45s don’t. I’m leaning towards the 55s….look great.

I have the latter for 2 years. Toyos. Love them. Did not notice any decrease in ride quality. They do give a bit of road noise, but then again the factory tires were ridiculously "street car" tread. The biggest problem that I've had is getting them balanced and keeping them balanced.

I just purchased these tires yesterday and then drove from WV to NY and love them!!! Same size you mentioned. With the AT3 I noticed zero ride issues and my truck is leveled. Only issue I found was it through my speedo of by about 4 mph. Dash shows 66 while I’m actually doing 70

That's really good to hear! I was concerned about jumping up to the E load mainly because I wasn't wanting to change the factory ride characteristics too much. What type of leveling kit did you install?
