I have a 19 Bighorn. Have the power turn in mirrors. My drivers mirror is polarized or perhaps auto dimming? But my right mirror is normal. Is this a standard setup?

This is the same as my Bighorn, not sure about higher trim levels. The mirror dim is found under apps in Uconnect

Same on Bighorns, but on higher trims, you can get passenger side auto dimming. It can be upgraded with new mirror glass and wiring.

My Limited both dim.

Depending on where\how you drive the driver side is more important to dim and is closer to your face.

yes, it is normal, but what I can't figure out for the life of me is if the convex little mirror is fixed or manually adjustable.

on mine it is fixed and USELESS. If one could turn adjust it it could be usefull, I put a $2 round adjustable one over it

Every once in awhile my left mirror dims during the day. Not sure what causes this but it usually clears up shortly after.

Probably reflections of the sun off the snow.

You can turn it off if you really want to on your screen.

It works perfectly for me.
I guess it depends on the use case?
guess have to define 'perfect' - I expected it to show something different than the full mirror, help with blind spot, help with a trailer, etc. mine just shows the same image, and smaller. similar the pic Dewey posted. What does yours show?

Mine shows my blind spot.

I also have the rear view camera so that might help.

If a vehicle is coming up on my left side I see it in my review view camera first, then it goes into the small mirror, then when the front of the car can't be seen on rear mirror, it's already showing in the main mirror. There is no point where I will not be able to see a car in the mirrors, even a small one.

Basically I have 0 blind spots on my left, if I use my rear view camera (my rear view mirror) and my 2 mirrors on the left.

I wonder if something isn't right with yours from the factory or maybe you don't have your mirror turned at the expected angle Ram assumes you will place it.
I adjust mine so I can JUST see the side of my truck in the main mirror maybe a sliver of it.

I have already blindspot detection so hate the small mirror in the corner. I would rather have a full view mirror without. This is my first RAM to have that mirror.

The pic was on a cloudy day. It was snowing out while it was dimmed. My last two Laramie’s never dimmed during the day and worked like they should for dimming bright lights at night.

I turned off the blindspot detection.
I don't need it lighting up every time I drive by senone on the highway epically if I don't have my blinker on and are staying in my own lane. thank god it can be disabled.

I don't know what to tell ya. It thought something was really bright and dimmed.

I do 90% freeway driving so blindspot is nice to have. Didn’t think I would care for it but there always seems to be those idiots that fly up behind you and then hang in the blind spot. Most times I’m in the fast lane passing vehicles so it only lights up for a split second otherwise so doesn’t really bother me. The loud alert that comes on when you turn on your blinker too soon is annoying and sure glad that can be disabled.

The things you learn.
I turned mine off so quickly I didn't know it even made a noise LOL!
The problem I had\have is the light catches my attention and takes my eyes off whatever it should be looking at. It's a personal thing I know there are a ton of people that like it and it can be a useful feature.
