My truck is super new and I just don't understand the haze on the windshield. As soon as it gets wet you can see the haze. I tried cleaning with invisible glass and also rainx ceramic stuff. This is what is left after trying to dry it all off with a towel. Any help is greatly appreciated A1AA5F09-84A2-4D8B-857A-A78132C79391.jpeg 6D4515E3-52C9-424C-85A3-76482742E802.jpeg

have you tried using a razor blade to scrape it to see if it comes off? Or perhaps use one of those glass stipper?
I haven't used razor blade cause I don't wanna scratch it. What is the glass stripper? I saw some guys use a clay bar but idk if it'll work. Worth a try I guess. It's like a haze tho not dirt

I started noticing the same thing with my F150 right before I traded it. Didn't take the time to figure it out. Haven't noticed it on Ram yet.

You can try the procedures from the video. If you clay bar be sure that it is absolutely 100% clean. Any dirt can be caught in the clay bar and scrape the windshield.
This worked for me, alcohol and "window cleaners" did not.

Don't use clay on your windshield or any glass.

Use Windex and a paper towel
Then try a Microfiber cloth and rubbing alch
Lastly try a blade, you hold it at a small degree off the windshield, it should be able to slide back and forth without scraping (try on your window at home first so you can see what I mean)

Those look like stains from a rainx product, I know whats extremely unlikely since it's new but thats what ive seen before.
Rubbing alcohol worked wonders to get it off and I used a regular bath towel to clean it off after.

You can also try and apply Rainx spray OVER the area and work it in with a towel and let it dry, then haze, then scrub it off dry.
There are better options for getting your windshield water repelent but none that I know of that could possibly work that stuff off except Rainx, ive no idea whats in that stuff.

I’m curious as to why you would say not to use a clay bar on glass. It is totally safe and works very well. You just have to make sure the windshield is clean first.

He doesn't know what is on his windshield. It's clearly not "clean" It's possible it could drag whatever it is and scratch the windshield.
In general it should be fine but if alcohol doesn't get it off, a clay bar isn't either.

It seems as tho it's residue from something. I was thinking oily something from wipers or something from factory. Whatever it is, it isn't dirt. It looks spotless in the sun but in low light and some rain or moisture, forget it

you made the statement "I'm supposed to get it tinted Tuesday fml lol"
that made it look like it would have an affect
getting it tinted has no effect and they might be able to clean it
Well generally you look at the window after the tint is done to make sure it "looks right" and having that crap on isn't going to help.

Also if it's really damage on the glass it would need to be replaced, and hes going to need to pay for a second tint job.

+1 for them being able to clean it. I'm sure they have seen it before.
