I’m tired of looking at those ugly stickers and really want to get rid of them. That was a terrible idea putting them there.🤨

Any luck heating the glue up slightly with a hair dryer and then peeling off? Wondering if any residue will be left behind?🤔

This is the best procedure I've seen. You should try it and report back.

$2500 for Porsche visors! 🤣

That second product looks like it actually worked pretty well. Might have to find some and give it a shot.🤔

The alcohol looks like it works the best to remove the decals and the Eco Super Spray All to clean off the glue residue.

I already have the alcohol. Looks like that Wurth cleaner is pretty pricey. I’ll have to explore that more.

Did you try that?😲

No, not me. But I work in a profession where I deal with a lot of people that don't have to worry about saving that date for their high school reunions, if you know what I mean. I can just see someone saying to themselves "If they both work pretty good by themselves, they probably work twice as good together....."

This looks pretty simple.

I saw that one too. I watched a bunch of videos that used heat and the fabric stretched as they were removing the decal and it didn't shrink up when it cooled off. That video was the only one that didn't ruin the fabric.

Done. I did the hair dryer trick and it worked well. It’s important to not use the highest heat and go very slow pulling the sticker as you go along. I have a VERY small amount of adhesive left on the visor that I’ll address later when I get the proper product to remove. Either way it’s a 100% improvement.

Did the fabric get stretched out at all? It's hard to tell from that pic. If you can't remove the adhesive, I'm sure dirt will stick to that spot and end up looking like :poop:. I'll wait until you report back about removing the adhesive before I jump in. :cautious:

No stretching at all. Gotta go VERY slow otherwise I can see how that would happen.

On another note these 5th gen visors sure are much cheaper feeling compared to previous gen’s. Seems like another cost cutting measure.🤨

I’m curious what they get for replacements and if they already come with stickers on them? I would assume they do and the price is ridiculous.

I just checked. They are about $85 from Mopar Parts. It's hard to tell if that is a complete visor with the mirror and Homelink buttons or if you have to swap out that stuff.
