Awesome! 5 days isn’t too bad lol.. I don’t see the 33 gallon fuel tank but it’s on the BS so I’m confident it is in the truck. Question though, what are the number and letter tags on the window sticker before final price and right above destination Charge.

They are :
0CT
0CY
I see those codes are only on the Limited 1500 window stickers. Nothing on the Rebels or Big Horns. In fact, of the 4 Limiteds in today's bunch, 2 of the Limiteds had both codes, and 2 had just the 0CY code. Those 2 have slightly lower base price costs as well, which I assume is the difference in bed length.

The waiting is agonizing. From what I’ve gleaned there isn’t much rhyme or reason in this process as a whole, but it’s perplexing to see window stickers come before mine on builds that came after mine—for similar optional equipment on the same trim.

I was 5 days from build sheet (4/29) to window sticker (5/4). This was because after production at the factory, the truck gets sent to the Accessory shop for things like stripes/decals, side steps, bed utility group, and tonneau covers. I am not sure, but I also think this is where the panoramic sunroof is also installed. It looks like you ordered at least three of the things that are installed at the Accessory shop, so that is probably the reason for your delay.

You and I ordered 1 day apart. I don't even have a D1 status yet. Seems the Limiteds get built faster as others have noticed. Would be nice if our orders were combined and shipped together, but that would make too much sense.

They stopped doing the 10th anniversary like 3 weeks ago I thought everyone was saying on here? If not this is gonna be the fastest made truck ever lol. Last minute 10th anniversary haha.
You're gonna love the 10th Anny interior.
I already have the truck in my signature - getting rid of it lol. I ordered a black night edition Limited with the EcoDiesel - I really miss that engine, and the sea salt is not going to be fun with kids (namely because of the cloth). Was a bit of an impulse buy because it was on the lot. Dealer said they'd give me $1K less than what I paid on trade, so I might as well order exactly what I want.

Hi, Are the stats on this sheet including fleet vehicles. We re looking at builds for Alberta. Ours is coming through a dealer in Alberta. Still 15 and half months and still heard nothing re vehicle.
Yes, it includes all trucks coming out of Sterling Heights. So as long as you are meaning fleet 5th gen 1500’s then they are included in these stats

Not sure why you’re saying the wait is agonizing when you have people that placed their order months before you and their truck still hasn’t even started the build yet, yet you got your build sheet less then a month after ordering. You should be happy yours is moving along quickly. The people that have been waiting months and haven’t even seen a build sheet yet are the ones that should be anxious. I can only imagine how those people feel watching others that placed orders months after they did and their trucks are already being built

Seems like when you place an order for a big horn they throw you to the bottom of the barrel. Get the laramie’s and limited’s in first

I didn’t realize I was competing against anyone in the agony olympics. Respectfully and gracefully bowing out of those games, if so. I was simply talking about my experience with where I am in the ordering process.

The main point of my post, which you missed, was that I can’t see any logical sequence for how things are being built, etc., and not having much insight there otherwise—irrespective of my experience, that seems to be true for a lot.

I agree, I also don’t see any logical sequence on how orders are dealt with at the factory. Still don’t understand how ram doesn’t have a better system of letting the customer know better details about their build during the process. If your order is sitting idle for months in D status they should have a better explanation as to why. If your truck had a build sheet a month prior and are still waiting for a window sticker, you should have a better understanding of why it’s taking so long. But I guess that’s too much to ask.

Totally agree. My father just ordered an Audi. He has a unique status page tied to his VIN that provides updates as it moves through the manufacturing process, to include any delays and/or mishaps. No need to reach out to the dealer or engage with the lovely folks manning the support lines for updates. I also recognize that business is booming for Ram and shortages are abundant, so scaling in other areas to address some of these things aren’t probably high on the priority list.

I reached out to Ram Chat this morning and my case was assigned to a "brand mentor" to inquire on my vehicles status and "expedite arrival at the dealership". I'll take that with a grain of salt, but we will see what happens. I was simply just inquiring, and Ram Chat initiated the push without me complaining.

My vehicle has been waiting to ship/in-transit since ~04/02. No further information, given that the tracking system is down.

I'm not sure if the tracker is down. I called my dealer Monday, and he was able to see my POC, that my trucks status was 2nd rail departure. He didn't tell me specifically where the truck was physically though.

It is still down but I think there are blips where it does work somewhat.
