As I'm waiting as well, from reading the forums it's all over the place. I've seen as soon as 9 or 10 weeks to folks waiting over a year. Seems the sweet spot is 16 weeks.

Thanks for ordering Pat Blue as I too ordered one in early April. If true I read that they like to group colors in batches so the more Pat Blue orders I see it may help my order.

I ordered in March and it’s ready for shipping. Shipping is the crap shoot. I’m not stressing about it though and feel like mid to late May is a good time frame for me. Beginning to “possible” driveway could be 2.5 months which ain’t bad.

I have a couple of questions about the whole ordering process.

1. Do the dealers have to order in batch? The reason I ask is that from the time I had everything lined up with the dealer with options and such to when the order was actually placed in the system with Ram (I was given the order date from RamCares Chat) was about 2-3 weeks. That was with me asking for updates. I was wondering if there was a minimum order quantity that a dealer has to put in at any given time when ordering for a customer.

2. Besides the chip shortage (and the foam insert shortage) are there other shortages which are causing issues with builds being scheduled. I am still apparently in D status/"In the scheduling process" with no ETA in sight. I know there are people who have waited longer. The dealer had said likely 6 to 8 weeks to get the truck, but based on what I have been seeing in the threads I know that is wind up the skirt. The build I asked for was pretty vanilla I think(?), though unlike most other people, I went with the V6 and the 3.21 gear as this is mostly going to be a Highway cruiser for me and the Mrs. I never haul much, I never tow anything.

Just getting curious as to how this all gets mapped out.

Well, since I only got the driver’s side foam cup holder, I decided to repurpose it. Told the wife it was a free option for NRA members. That way she doesn’t feel left out. It actually works quite well. Are you sure it’s really a cup holder?

I have changed the WS to Lot (transit time) to a 60 | 30 day rolling average as it seems more useful to typical transit times you can expect today given the recent delays.

That's what I was told too All I can say....hope for the best, plan for the worst. Just don't hold your breath.

Keep in mind that the ship time date the shows on the POC is actually the date it would be manufactured, not shipped. You're looking at least a few weeks after that date to the lot.

Two trucks in ultimately what is less than half the time than me for even to get one....I'd be pretty meh too
