Bumper change and exterior chrome window border

Hey I have a ram 1500 larmie and it has a chrome bumper and I want it to match the color of my truck. Would it be cheaper And or possible to just wrap the bumpers? Every place I asked to paint them said chrome is impossible to paint over and is just a waste of money. Also my truck has a black border trim around my windows and I can't find the limited chrome trim for the windows anywhere. Thanks

Yes you can wrap the bumpers, lots of people have done it. Done on my last one and my new one. There's a few pots about changing the window trim out, I'm in the process of blacking out my chrome trim but not by removing it, wrapping it.

Think it would be cheaper or cost just as much on getting an exact match? Also would I wrap it in the color than do a clear wrap to protect it? Basicly a new bumper painted on one site cost about 1500 and 12 for the back bumper..

I painted the chrome bumper by first removing the chrome from it with sandblasting, the paint is holding up perfectly.

If you were closer I'd trade you the black window trim for my chrome trim.. im trying to remove all chrome..

Depending on the shop. Up around here it's anywhere from $350 - 600 per bumper... It depends on the film if you want to use a clear PPF after, my last truck had it wrapped, no clear with Avery film and after 5 years just peeled it and re-applied a new one

Quite good, there are some chips from stones but the paint has not peeled off anywhere, it looks the same as other painted body parts

They removed it for preparation, then installed it in place and painted it on Truck with fender and some more parts.
