Out of place Gold Trim

Okay Laramie people how did you guys get rid of that out of place gold Ram decided to put around the console and Radio? I have found what the parts are called (Bezel, Instrument panel Center and Console Panel Left and Right) and was just going to buy a different trim levels part to try and swap but I am having a difficult time finding pictures so I have no idea what color these things are. I believe the part number 5YU443XLAF will work for the radio. I have not found a silver or black (if they exist) panel for the console. Has anyone done this? Did you just paint them? Thanks!

Oh nice! I'll check that thread out. It looks fine with the brushed and shiny silver and the small amount of wood, why add gold to it? FCA makes a habit of doing this. My wife's old cherokee had random gold accents on the door handles I think?

Nice, When I first got it I wondered if they did the gold on purpose for 2022 or ran out of silver or black. To me the gold seems entirely out of place. I honestly thought they forgot to finish those trim pieces.

At one point in time it was directly related to having nav or not with the 8.4" (w/nav had gold w/out nav had the black).

That may or may not still be the case, but I remember for 2019/20 that seemed to be why certain laramies got different trim colors like that.

Huh interesting. I think I am just going to try and wrap those pieces and if it sucks maybe I'll search for the black or maybe silver pieces.

The 2020 I used to own had the Sport Appearance package, and there was no gold trim inside. You have the Night Edition package, and don't have the gold trim. Just one more reason to get a package that gets rid of the chrome

Guess that's why I didn't know what gold we were discussing - I traded my Big Horn Sport for a Laramie Night, so I guess I never had it!

Yeah I was pretty confused by this post, my Laramie doesnt have gold trim...but its a Sport. Thank god, gold would be awful.

Figured I would update this. I was able to find the trim pieces for the center console, those fit right in. The radio bezel is a different story though. Apparently there are two different ways they mount the radio to the bezel so the part number previously referenced (5YU443XLAF) does not fit at least my truck. I haven't really looked yet for another part number that has the same cutouts as mine. I'll update if/when I find it.
