Exterior Door Handle Removal?

Has anyone been able to remove the door handles? I've pulled the interior panels off and removed the exterior trim, but no luck. It seems like you should just be able to loosen the torx from the side of the door, pull the cap off and slide the handle out, but that torx doesn't seem to budge the cap.

So it was just loosening the Torx screw from the side, removing the cap and pulling the handle back and out. I hadn't gone far enough for fear of losing it in the door, but it seems to be longer than most I've encountered. Access to the torx screw on the read doors is behind some trim and a small clear decal.

Yes, you turn the torx screw counter clockwise to move the sliding plate forward. Just pull on the cap while turning the screw until the cap comes off. The remove the handle.

I see the hole to access the torx screw on the rear doors, but don't see one on the front doors. Do I have to remove the door panel to get the front two off?

Sorry, got that backwards. I see the access whole on the front, not the rear.
