Uconnect, can’t hear bass.

Hi,

Question about Uconnect or audio.
I can’t hear any bass when I connect to Uconnect through bluetooth when I listen to it the music. I can hear light sounds with no bass.
When with cable, it’s normal I can hear everything.
My phone is iphone12pro, truck is Ram1500 limited 2021.
Does anyone know if it’s just broken and I should take it to the dealership?

Have you checked everything in the settings ? Both Phone and Uconnect ?

It's bluetooth, all bluetooth connections strip out lower frequency, this is why wired earbuds sound better than wireless. They started doing this about 8-9 years ago.

Double check that your phone volume is up.

Thank you! I didn’t know there was setting for bluetooth on the phone. I just changed it to car stereo with Uconnect and now I can hear bass!! Thank you!!
