Haha Koons in VA - probably not what you were expecting me to say - honestly with Craig at Koons offering that insane of a deal I didn't think I could ever beat it, and didn't feel right trying to get local dealers to match it (not that they would have matched 6% below invoice...). I am from DC though so I didn't really mind the idea of going up to get it and having a nice drive back via Nashville

Got email from Ram Cares. Says parts are ready. New POC says delivery Feb 2. Dealer says ignore. I assume 8 months from order to delivery. Wife is quite tired of my bitching.Price went up #3k. Supposedly protected. Fingers crossed.

Does your POC list "Estimated Ship Date" of 2/2? If so that's the estimated build date, the date it is supposed to go down the line. I don't see a "delivery" date on my POC.

We’ve got your info, and your VIN is definitely being scanned daily. Triple_B will have to manually add yours for some reason. Manual additions are usually done on the weekends, but might be delayed. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered.

Well after 7 1/2 months from order, I pick up my Limited today. It's a bad *** truck.
It set on a train car for two weeks before geting delivered to the dealer 13 miles away.
Thanks To Eighty & trible_B for all you did to help keep me informed. So out with old 2000 and in with the new 2022

FINALLY. These trucks are off the charts. It's incredible how nice they are. Only 250 miles on it but everything has been flawless.

Everything went extremely smooth at the dealer. They honored the sale price and trade value from July. Original ordered MSRP was $71,400 and it's at $74,005 now. I paid $64,700. I ended up with a very good deal. No grief or hassle or anything. They simply honored the original agreement.

I bought an extended warranty through them for only a couple hundred more than Zeigler. They got close enough to Zeigler's price to make me buy it.

Don't give up. These trucks are worth every minute of the wait. It sure has been nice having this forum to learn so much and get me through the wait.

Unfortunately Ram Chat won't confirm status codes but that sounds like D1. If you call Ram Chat over using the chat, they may tell you something more definitive, but frankly your dealer can tell you better anyway.

So, I did talk to the dealer. They confirmed D1 status and said ESD is 1/24!!! If that is true, then I should see a BS next week...of course...ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!

But it seems at least they do have my truck order...

how you get dates on your trip down the final assembly line? All I get when I call is its in the production build process. I saw rumor that on the 26th they are running some very old orders (mine is 100517) that day..Mine has been laying on the bottom of the pile of orders since early May21
