What actual mpgs are you guys getting on the v8 vvts (empty bed, not towning anything)? I've read anything from 11 mpg to 19. Just trying to determine fact from fiction.

I've got a buddy in GA that has a 2019 DR laramie. He swears he gets 19 mpgs driving locally (no highway). He's the only person I've heard getting that kind of mpgs.

To and from work 20/80 city highway I get about 16 doing 69. In the hills or on longer trips I can get up to 21 depending on traffic.

2021 5.7 with eTorque, 3.21 gears. Currently have 35" mud tires and I now see 20mpg at 60mph and 18mpg at 75mph. Flat area, no hills. I average 17 with mixed driving.

With stock tires and no level I would average in the 19s during weekdays from work commute with semi tame driving. Mostly highway driving, with little stop and go. Weekends it would drop to around 15 to 17 or so. I do not have a light foot.

I use the auto start/stop often, which does seem to help.

All my figures are from tracking on fuelly. On my '21 hemi non e-torque, I drove like a granny to get 17.2mpg averaged over ~4400 miles. I did another 5300 miles with LT 285/50/22 tires and averaged 15.2 for those miles. My two cents: My '22 ecodiesel has has the first two tanks with an average of 28.3mpg- that's better than my '19 honda accord sport. I'd never again consider getting the 1500 without a diesel.

My Mileage Keeper app says I average 13.8 mpg while going through the 963.804 gallons since new. Saw 16.1 mpg on a road trip a while back. All highway.

Between 16 and 17.5 mpg. The near single digit temps have killed it recently though.

I am in Florida and can confirm I am getting 18.5 to 19.5. Around town and on interstate 95 at 75 I am getting 21 to 23

I've not done any real calculations, but I live in a hilly area. I notice that going up the hills, I'll get something like maybe 10mpg, but going down the other side, I get 99. So, I guess I'm getting 54.5mpg: (10+99)/2 :p

ETA: Sorry, just noticed this was in the Hemi subforum.

I get around 15mpg hwy/city with the 35's. I was around 18mpg hwy/city before I switched. (no regrets) :)

2022 5.7 with eTorque, 3.21 gears and getting 18-19 with winter fuel and some short remote starts. Less than 1000 miles so I'm expecting some improvement over time.

19 Laramie, literally getting 30 (8) and I’ll be taking it in. Again. For a new thing. Again.

Way too many variables between RAM models to make any sort of comparison. If that's what you're looking for, you need to be very specific to your model and ask only those with the same model to reply.

On average I get about 16 mpg on summer blend and 15 mpg on winter blend. It goes up and down a bit as driving conditions and highway/city % changes between tanks but I'd say that's my overall.

If I do almost all highway then I can add about 1mpg to that. Depending on how "frisky" I'm feeling I can easily get down in the 13's for a tank 😉.
