My first Ram - Flame Red Night Edition Big Horn with Laramie wheels (2020)

Here’s the start of My slow build. 2020 Flame Red Big Horn. Got it with 17k miles. Came with Alpine speakers, premium lighting group, and bed liner group (couldn’t find one in my price range with relatively low miles with a pano roof unfortunately).

mods so far:

Front windows tinted 20%, found a local guy with some night edition 22’s from his 2020 Laramie that I picked up. (came with stock 20” night edition wheels)

next mods

installing single 12” sub
Black lugs for rims
Some better tires for this wheels (probably 305/45/22)
Eventually going to get a 2” lift/level

I’ll keep this thread updated as I keep mods going. Hope you all like it! I hated the idea of a red ram, I really wanted a silver one, but this red grew on me FAST and now I love the red on black look.

How do those 22's ride as compared to the 20's ? I heard they are a rougher ride.

Ordered some Toyo Open Country AT3's that should be in, in the next few days. Got them in 305/45r22. Will post pics when they get mounted

Here's next piece of my rig. New shoes

Big Horn with Night edition wheels off of a Laramie. I decided to go with Toyo At3 305/45r22. Stock ram, have not gotten it lifted or leveled. I actually don't feel the need to go with spacers anymore to make the tires stick out. I am happy with the way the extra width looks. I stuck with 45 height honestly out of cost.

To my surprise, no rubbing so far, and I have to go to lock in some of my parking scenarios. Ill probably do a 2" level in next few weeks.

Anyways. Picked them up at discount tire. Took them 3-4 days to get them in store, they had me installed in about 45 min. Tires look great I think!

Nice ride! I overlooked this thread somehow. I had a red sports car for 5 or 6 years and loved it. The weird thing was that after I got rid of that car I found myself no longer liking red vehicles. That changed again with the new Rams. I had a chance to climb all over one at the dealer and fell in love with the color. Yours looks even more amazing with the black accents. And I agree with what I think @Idahoktm is alluding to with his question. You take some really great photos!

Thanks! I use my camera to take the pics. I have a photography gear channel on YouTube so I always have fancy cameras and lenses lol

What's funny is I hated the idea of a Red truck. I was actually hunting for a silver or white 1500 but couldn't find any with the options I wanted in my price range. When I first saw this one, I thought "red on black???, YUK" BUT the more I looked at the red and black combo, the more it grew on me. When I got to the dealer, I fell in love with the color combo.

Im actually glad I got this one now. I have only seen one other flame red night edition since I got it. Conversely, there are black, white, and silver ones everywhere. And thank you for the compliments on the pics! I love taking car pics with my cameras

its been a while so I thought Id update this thread. Made a few mods:

Installed 2" motofab leveling spacers to front.
Added black lug covers to the wheels
Installed a 12" subwoofer that I will snap some pics of and get them uploaded

Nice truck! I think I found pics of your truck on Reddit when I was searching for 305/45/R22 tires ( I ended up getting the same tires as what you have - love them!). Also, really nice photos - well done!
