Found this under old battery

Add me to the list of Battery replacement 2019 BH CC 5.7 NonEtrque bought 11/18 currently at 43k, 19deg in upstate communist ny overnight, got a NAPA Legend for 166 w tax and $20 mail in rebate coming so $146 got 3years and 2months not complaining its a fair tenure for factory batt, anyways pita lower nut was a b)&; buster to get out, lifted old battery out and saw batt tray had 1/2" of water just sitting at the bottom, found this also anyone know what this is? in the dirty water thanks guys/girls.. only 25 min so for those who ask why i didnt bother the dealer about warranty etc... easier for me just to buy one and do it.and yes my low battery
warning light came on this morning glad i wasnt in the middle
of no.where, ive had good luck w wifes car and my 2014 w the napa batterys in the past

ill look around tomrw the right side of the engine for anything obvious dont quite understand how it got under the battery, maybe from the assembly line..

That yellow thing looks like a protector for a fuel line or AC hose. They come with the O-rings installed so they don't want them damaged.

Also, you guys got any idea about the puddle of water sitting in the bottom
of the plastic batt tray

It should have been thrown away when whatever was assembled.
