My fiancé and I would like to trailer her Jeep to an off-road park. However, I’m not sure I would be able to tow it. Im not sure of her curb weight and the trailer weight. My guess would be 5500 lbs curb weight and 1500-2000 lb trailer weight. I weigh about 200 lbs and my fiancé weighs about 115lbs. The trailer is also a pintle hook. I’m just not sure I’d be able to do it with the 3.21’s.

Is the Jeep heavily modded? The heaviest stock 4-door Rubicons are only ~4,500 lbs curb weight.

3.21 will pull the trailer fine, although being over 5,000 lbs requires a WDH. Not sure how you do that with a pintle hook.

I pulled my '61 Caddy home 3+ hours no problem w/ 3.21 gears. About 7000 lbs car + trailer. No pintle hitch though.

I towed my uncles 5000 pound(estimate) Traverse with my dad's 18ft car hauler that weighs 2300 pounds without a problem. It was 300 miles and I didn't have a WDH either. Drove amazing and never really struggled. The Traverse was full of luggage and random stuff so that's why I feel it was closer or probably a little more then 5000 pounds.
