In general, installing rear air bag lift is not considered hard. If you know what you're doing and it's not your first time actually working on a truck, it shouldn't take more than an hour or so to complete.
Airlift has great products and if you go with one of the AIRLIFT1000 kits, it will be very easy to install and use. It's a simple system that you fill up like a tire, look this name up( airlift 1000hd) and see what other members of the forum have to say about this upgrade.
It's a good, simple system.
