I have seen this has been an issue for years now, but haven’t seen a fix for it?? Has anyone experienced their truck leaning towards driver side ?

I went round and round with my dealer over this. They said 12mm or less in suspension difference was within spec, and have stuck to it. I don't mind it(plus it kind of makes sense) while driving, due to most roads having cross fall (^ shaped). It drove me nuts while it sat in my driveway for 3 months, doesn't bother me now.

For me the left rear of my Rebel sat lower, it really stuck out after I put in a 2" level kit, looked like the front sat higher than the back. I used a 1" rear coil spring spacer at the bottom of the left rear spring and now my truck sits level from side to side, frt and back, 39 3/4" in the frt and 40 1/2" in the rear.

Looks like I have the same issue. Where did you get the 1" spacer for the left rear spring?

No vehicle I've ever owned was perfectly level from driver to passenger side. You usually have more weight on the driver's side in static form. Then add the weight of the driver and miles of driving, the springs will also sag more there as well over time due to wear.

That's one of the reasons adjustable coil overs are popular on performance applications, you can adjust each corner to level as needed.

Perfectly level... maybe not, but not a full 1" difference. My 2019 Ram has only 3,400 miles, it doesn't matter how or where it's parked, full or empty tank.... it's 1" lower on the driver side. Maybe they didn't get something right when they added the Off road package, but it's definitely not right or acceptable at this price point. Plus it just looks like junk...

When I had my Ford F150 I had a guy walk up to me in a parking lot one day and he asked me if he could measure my truck. I was a little confused, he said his F150 wasn't level side to side and he wanted to compare because mine looked level. He measured mine and it was out too, just not as bad as his. I asked him if he ever measured it with a near empty gas tank, he said hmmm, I'll have to try that and walked away.

That's about what I measured with most of my vehicles, my sedans were less, maybe 1/2 inch. My F150, Ranger, Jeep and Expedition were about 1" from left to right. I haven't measured my RAM yet, I'll check it out later today.

I recommend going to the dealership and checking some new trucks and seeing how much of a difference there is. If there is a big difference compared to yours, then I would bring it up and confirm you have an issue they can take care of. There could be a spacer or something off if 1" is too much.

saw one yesterday (2019 version) had the same. The tech was able to go in and update each "bag" to try to level the rig out. It was also leaning towards the driver's side (aka passenger side was higher). If I see him today, I'll ask if he got it fixed.

Was your Rebel a 5th gen? I have a similar issue on my 2021 Longhorn 1500 and would like to know where you found the rear coil spacer you in installed. I've checked with 4wheelparts and Rough County, and neither could help me.

It's not just Rebels that do this. My Limited is about 1/2" lower on the left rear. My previous 2020 Laramie was 3/4" lower on the left rear (non-air suspension). I'm going to fix my Limited with aftermarket suspension links and make adjustments until it's perfectly level from left to right.

As mentioned before, left to right is rarely level on any vehicle due to weight differences of the vehicle itself to left to right. I've had 20 cars in my history, and all of them were lower on the driver's side.

The only way to fix is by using shims or spacers. If you are fancy, you can do with with a coil over spring, but you don't want to do that on a suspension that has the spring separate from the shock, like it is on the rear of our RAMs. Your better off using a spacer for that for the rear, but other than aesthetics, not sure why would bother perfectly leveling left to right. On a track car it's important, which is why coil overs were invented in the first place, but on a truck?

Because it bothers me to look at it. I don't care if it's a car, truck, or a bus. It bothers me if there is a noticeable lean that doesn't look right. :D Why do you think that just because it's a truck it should look good?

Should have been more detailed on the truck part. I only mention that because it's kinda hard to tell due to the large space between the tires and fender on most trucks. I honestly can't tell the difference between 1/4 - 1/2" on such huge gaps from left to right on my Rebel, so aesthetically it doesn't bother me.

On my car, it's very easy to notice differences in gaps since there is only a 2" gap from the tire to the fender on my coupe. But since it's naturally occurring, it doesn't bother me.

But I don't mean to diminish your feelings about it, if it bothers you, then you need to do what it takes to fix it.

That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. The main place I notice the lean is when it's parked in the garage. That's also where I detail it, so I'm looking more closely at things like that. At first I thought my floor wasn't level, but that wasn't the case.

Absolutely makes sense to me, once something bothers me I have to fix it as well. I had a panel gap that would bug me everytime I looked at my truck that no one else would ever notice, but I had to fix it.

Mine leans to the left as well, it’s over a 2 inch difference on a full tank or an empty tank. I took out a level to check my driveway, turned my truck around, no matter what it’s 2 inches shorter. Coil spring suspension, not air bags. It drives me absolutely crazy and it makes it look like ***. Dealer has yet to come up with a reason even after installing new springs.

Mine was leaning a inch on the driver side as well, slapped a 1 in coil spring spacer on the left side fixed it . 465CFD60-DD21-4DAB-850C-8448DC41B51D.jpeg
