I just filter the spreadsheet triple_B has for all the member Limited w/5'7" bed and 5.7L engines like us. The only 10th Anniversary with a WS in the group is @Jtbarrett88 . He has a lot more options than myself, received BS one day after, and received Window Sticker a week later. There really is no discernible pattern. If I had to guess, they discovered something wrong with mine which is holding it up and preventing it from moving to next stage?
I disagree. I see a clear pattern of clusterfuckery

So an interesting thing happened. As I was comparing the prices on the window sticker with the printed POC report from the dealer, I noticed the base price of my Ram went up $650. The previous print out correlates with the NADA guide but the window sticker doesn't. All the other prices stayed the same. Has anyone else noticed a price bump since window stickers came out?

I was comparing a window sticker for a build similar to mine, went up $650 from my POC as well. Destination charge was also up $100.

Yeah, I was a little taken aback when I saw the price the dealer gave me today. But now I know why. I can't make FCA change their prices so I guess I will roll with the punches!

First post, so hope I am doing correctly! We ordered our Limited (4x4 Granite Crystal 5.7 etorque essentially loaded with all options except night edition and MFT). June 23 and received our VIN shortly after. Nearing 15 weeks since order. Contacted Ram Chat Sept 22 and told D1 (all materials have been gathered and vehicle should be entering build process). Told generally 7-9 weeks from this point to delivery. Contacted Ram Chat again Sept 24 to see if It had begun only to be informed previous information was incorrect and parts had not yet been gathered. Had not checked forum in a few days. When I read posts of 2022 trucks landing at dealerships, I decided to check the website for the dealer we ordered from. They have 20 2022 1500s “In Transit” - a variety of trims, including a night edition limited and a limited edition longhorn. All with option to “buy online”, so no appearance of being sold orders. Meanwhile, we are still waiting for parts? While the limited is a diesel, the Longhorn is our ordered engine. Between the two, they seem to contain all the parts that would have been needed to build ours. Color not an issue as Granite Crystal 1500 Limited models are on the spreadsheet with window stickers (later VIN numbers). My understanding is that Sold orders get first build. Questioning how our dealer has this many stock trucks arriving before ours, and if some truth to the conspiracy theory and we are paying the consequences for our dealer getting caught placing bogus sold orders? Husband planning to call sales department tomorrow. Advice?

PS - thanks to all that have provided information that has educated us on this crazy process!

this used to be the way but we are finding out it is not holding true for this model year.
many of us have speculated different things but it is only speculation.

mine is, FCA wanted to have trucks on the lots for dealers so when we all get our trucks the dealers will have something to sell all the other people who will want one after seeing ours.

Correction… none of the trucks in transit have the Tow Package or Off Road Package, so feel a little better (but not much). Do these packages seem to be a build hold-up?

Thanks! Sure would be nice if they had them arrive at the same time if that is the case 🙄 Otherise, just mean haha

There are a lot of trucks that have been built with the Off Road package. I haven’t checked for the Tow Package specifically, but I’m sure there are plenty of those too. I’m not aware of any true “missing” packages. Probably limited supply on several things - and we can see where they are prioritizing those.

Thanks. So nothing that would indicate those options as a factor In delaying our build. All other options are among the stock trucks in transit to our dealership. Guess it is possible that they are using “in transit” figuratively? Curious what explanation they will have for us tomorrow given they told us our order would be fulfilled before stock vehicles. Thankful for the pricing they gave us, but a little frustrated to say the least!

Maybe I'm behind in reading but I don't recall seeing the 2022 Ram Limited Red edition. On the build and price page, scroll to the bottom and under Special Editions you can watch a short video. Not my cup of tea but looks cool.

Yeah, sorry, looks like that news is a couple weeks old. I just hadn't noticed. Wish they would update the dang build and price website. Sounded like there was chatter on Sunday about looking like updates were being made but nothing appears changed from what I see.

I’m at KZT status (2nd Rail Departure) to Mechanicville, NY where it will then be delivered to my dealer in CT via truck from there. Dealer said it should getting on the truck between 10/6 and 10/16. Not sure where the 2nd rail departure is at. Seems like a long time, but I am not going to complain given the amount of waiting I see people experiencing here.
Time wise for anyone interested, I believe my truck started to get built on 9/16 and seemed to go through the process relatively quickly. And I think I was given an estimated ship date in early September.
