I know some here are not happy with their eTorque RAMs but I like mine, especially sitting at a long light. So why not show whatbit

so I decided to switch out the existing hood badges with the 2021 ones.

very easy swap. I gently pried up from the bottom (there are only 2 clips on the bottom near the edges) using a plastic tool and then pulled down from the top and they came right out.

new ones snapped back in after I cleaned up the indented hood areas and apply a wax.

Forget where I ordered them from but 2nd pic is the part numbers.

That's great. I'll probably do that too. I like mine too. I don't get the hate for the auto start.

I will probably leave mine as is. If the blue eTorque lettering was a darker blue I might change it. My truck is Patriot Blue and I don't think the different shade of blue would look right.

Re the hate for the auto start - a friend of mine that has a Volvo with auto stop / start was in the truck the other day. We were stopped at a red light and he says damn this truck is quiet. I say, yeah because the engine is off - It's an auto start / stop vehicle. He laughs and calls BS. He says he didn't even feel it when we were driving so there is no way it's auto start / stop. I had to show him the tach to prove it to him.

Bottom line - he was pissed that his sort of luxurious Volvo with auto start was so laggy and intrusive compared to mine, the guy driving the pickup truck.

His Volvo, along with just about every other vehicle with auto start out there, use the normal starter to restart the engine. Which relies on a solenoid to kick out the starter gear to engage the flex plate and start the engine. All of this takes time. Our trucks use the belt driven generator/motor to restart the engine. Since it's directly connected to the crankshaft via a belt there's no inherent mechanical delay in the system. I've driven some that were so slow that we would get honked at when the light turned green at intersections. One was a BMW and the other was a Mini (also technically BMW).

$62??? What a rip off! Ram should sell these to current Etorque customers for $20. It's basically us marketing the Etorque for them...smh.
If you go by Mopar parts store this part number shouldn't even fit your truck... You're not doing them any favors lol

The badges on the Sport hood are removable, but you just can't buy them anywhere unless you buy the entire plastic piece they are mounted to.
I understand that, but that wasn't the question that was asked. I believe he was referring to the same style badges that he bought for $62 and NOT the emblem for the sport hood. At least, that was the way I read it.
