Hey guys! I'm tired of waiting for the Bilstein 6112 and I might pull the trigger on the Mopar 2" lift kit which includes the fox shocks and uca. Front and rear. I was wondering the opinions of those who went either route i.e. Bilstein 6112 or Mopar. Curious to see everyone's thoughts. I am currently running stock 2021 ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 with night edition 22s with 33x13.5x22 toyos. No rub.

I have the Mopar 2 inch lift and I have no complaints. I like the rake with the truck and the ride is nice.

Had mine installed last week and took it out to test it out a bit this weekend and it did amazing huge improvement over stock. I was hitting washboard roads at about 55 and it was as smooth as normal street driving, some harder bumps and it wasnt anything more then a speed bump with out any huge jostling and unsettling after very fast to recover. Im very happy with it, and mine was dealer installed so its all under warranty

Looks nice! I went back and forth on that kit or Bilsteins, ended up ordering the 5100’s but those pictures and Fatherdeaths review have me thinking again!

if your already on the 5100s use them and figure the truck out and where you want improvements, since your not bound by warranty anymore i would recommend the fox 2.5 coilovers or similar ICON system with reservoirs, the small parts like bracket relocations and what not can be had for cheap and you will have a much better system

I was thinking bilsteins on setting 4 or 5 and raising the rear up 1”-1.5. I want some rake. I really want to maintain a good quality ride.

I just ordered Bilsteins from Bilsteinlifts.com if you are considering those, they should be here next week.

So I partially went this route to see which one went faster. I had ordered the Mopar kit in April, but after waiting several months, i puchased the Bilstein 6112 kit thinking i would get the corresponding rear shocks for that. Lo and behold, the 5160's are on backorder and I'm on a waiting list for that. The 6112 kit is sitting in my garage and I still had hopes the Mopar kit would come. Then I'd sell the 6112 kit.

Not pitching a fit here, but I'm just disgusted with how things are going, this world is such a mess. I'm wondering if my OEM tires will wear out before I actually get the parts for the lift.

EDIT: Jus got the best news: my lift kit is in at the dealership as of 1003 EST!!! Super excited now!

Awesome! Get err done. I just picked up my Mopar lift kit today, cancelled my 6112 and ordered up the ORP rear springs. Installing this weekend! This has been frustrating to say the least!!!

Well update: I just got don't Installing the 2" Mopar lift and took the truck to get aligned. Install was super easy and I am very pleased with the quality. The drive over to the alignment shop, I was very impressed!! It rides better than the stock setup. Here is before and after picture. Kinda of hard to tell the difference but it's there. Thanks for you guys opinions. It made the choice even easier.
