I searched and read many posts, but didn’t see a direct answer.

If I went with 22” tires/rims vs the 20” OE on my 2021 Laramie, would I need to change anything with the speedometer/computer to compensate?

Also, any idea if there would be a fitment/clearance issue?

Looking at a setup something like this….

Stock for Stock, I believe the 22's have the same diameter tires as the 20's. They have a shorter sidewall tire to compensate for the bigger wheels.

$508 per wheel plus $120 for TPMS? That seems really high. Check Custom Offsets or Discount Tire. I bought 4 OEM TPMS for $49.

OEM 20" (275/55R20) vs OEM 22" (285/45R22) vs OEM 18" (275/65R18), they are so close, many consider them all to be the same overall size, except in width, which has no effect on the speedometer.

This comparison excludes Rebel and TRX models, they have larger tires.

For this small a difference, I would not bother with touching the speedo calibration. I love to use this site for comparing tire sizes, but there are many like it. Keep in mind, these are more like strict guidelines; many tire makers will deviate very slightly (slightly larger/smaller) from the exact size they should be.

This attached chart is right from the FCA/Stellantis Fleet website and has the OEM specs for the various available stock tires including revs/mile which is most important for the speedo

For sure I’m going to shop around if I pull the trigger. Good to know about the TPMS
