BREAKDOWN: 2022 Jeep® Grand Wagoneer Series III:

The Most Luxurious Of The Grand Wagoneers...

As the Jeep® brand’s most luxurious offering ever, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer Series III (WS) is the most expensive Jeep to ever hit the market. To help make the new duo of full-size SUVs feel even more premium, the Jeep brand has said, that the Wagoneer nameplate will be its own sub-brand. Kinda silly if you ask us, considering the Wagoneer is one of the most recognized Jeep nameplates of all time and that the Jeep brand is one of the most popular automotive brands around the globe. But who are we to tell the marketing team. If it worked for SRT with the Viper, it will work… oh well, never mind.

PROS: Very nice looking . . . love the powerplant
CONS: Pricing is insane . . . using the term "BREAKDOWN" in a review of a Chrysler product is just bad ju-ju.

(UPDATE: Now I see that base pricing actually starts at ~$70k, not $103k. Saw the website images. Not surprising that they are marketing to people who live in glass houses; literally, not figuratively.)

In all seriousness, I hope it's a huge success for Stellantis.

to be fair those brands changed the name on the front and didn’t try selling a $90k Toyota or whatever.

It isn’t like GM doesn’t put massive price tags on some of their non luxury SUCs though.

There are exceptions. Even Lexus was stretching quite a bit with the $400K LFA.
