I've been lurking for awhile and was excited to finally own this Rebel.

Quick story. I live in the Atlanta area. Bought a 2020 Ram Rebel that is factory certified with only 8K miles a couple of weeks ago. After owning it for two days, I got a message on my center gauge screen that said the Blind spot monitor system needed service and my entire 12" uconnect screen was dead. And by dead I mean it was like a brick. Would do nothing. Wouldn't turn on, no radio, no reverse camera system, no reverse or forward parking sensors.......nothing. Couldn't even control the A/C unit. It was like any electrical system in the truck was dead.

Took it to a local Ram dealer in the Atlanta area and to say it has been a frustrating experience would be an understatement. Very little help. Very rude. Very little communication initially until I got the service manager involved. I had to constantly ask for updates and was ignored consistently. They acted like they didn't want to help me since I didn't buy the truck from them. I'm not sure they have any clue what is going on with my truck or they really care.

I'm two and a half weeks out and still have no clue when I will get my truck back or if they have a potential fix. They say the parts have been ordered but who knows. I was very excited to own this awesome truck but now I've got a sour taste in my mouth. They didn't offer me a loaner/rental and when I asked they simply said they didn't have anything available. I know these things happen but the service has been awful. Customer service is non existent. I contacted the stores general manager and he passed my on to the service manager. Never heard from the GM. Not sure what I will do when I get the truck back but I've never been treated this poorly when I owned other brands of vehicles. Thanks for taking time to read. Feels good to vent to others. Let me know if you've had similiar issues and maybe how I can light a fire to get this resolved. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum . Sorry to hear about your issue . Did the battery get disconnected at any time before all that happened ? If not then it sounds like they might replace the 12” screen . Some other members had problems with theirs too . Unfortunately with Covid everything is taking a long time to come in assuming the dealer actually ordered the parts .

Nope. Battery was never disconnected. Hoping they can figure it out soon. Not having a vehicle for over two weeks has been a challenge :) LOL

Sorry to hear about this. Any reason you can't take it to another dealer or the dealer you bought it from?

They have it all torn apart on inside apparently. BCM and 12" uconnect issue is what they said today. Bought it used at a dealer over an hour away from the house. This dealer is 10 min down road and since it's certified, I thought I could/should be able to take it anywhere. Big mistake. Won't go back to this place!

I hate to say it, but that's one of the concerns I have about buying a low mile used car. Why is it on a used lot with such low miles? Unless you can talk to the previous owner, it's a risk that the previous owner got rid of it due to problems.

My wife had a 2015 Scat Pack that Dodge bought back due to an electrical issue. We replaced the car with a 2017 Scat Pack. In 7 days, the entire dash and Uconnect system went dark twice. We traded the car in on day 8, with 430 miles on it. Being that Chrysler replaced the 2015 with the 2017, we already had equity in to new car, so when a dealer offered us a great trade number, we walked away with money in our pocket.

Lucky for you, the market is good for used trucks right now, so if you can sell it for more than you paid, I suggest you consider it. I bought a new '21 Rebel for less than used '20 Rebels with similar options.
