8.4" or 7"?

Why does my "8.4" Display" show that it has a 7" TFT display? It sounds like marketing is taking a 1.4" liberty?

You know I'm going to show up at my dealer to pick up my truck and I'll bring a ruler. Set it at the diagonal on the display and demand the service department fix it.

Seriously...how do they get away with calling a 7 inch display an 8.4???

8.4" is the radio display.

7.0" is the display between the gauges.
