TRX Jump that makes you cringe!

I checked out this video and the guy's channel over the weekend. I gotta say, many of his videos entertained me. And the TRX jump.... dumb but epic. I have no problem watching people tear up their own stuff whether that be on the racetrack, in some guy's field, at a mud truck event, in movies, etc.

Anyone know how this guy made/makes his money? His channel is making him some SERIOUS cash, but I'd imagine he has or had some other form of income.
He sells merchandise as well as does vehicle giveaways. I believe he has a video that he talks about investing as well.

If he can just use a cargo net and not putting the dumbbell. The window would not break like that. That dumbbell is really dangerous and he might get severely inquired if that thing went through the window.

Those spacers....yea nobody is talking about those spacers!! They actually held, I cringed through the video. 😬😬

I watch a fair amount of different YouTube channels but this one was hard to watch. I cringe when I see old Jaguars, Land Rovers, and even classic trucks destroyed in a movie or tv show.

More power to this guy, and I wish I had the smarts to generate the revenue he gains, but I would never destroy a brand truck, regardless of make or model.

Ive been a subscriber of his for a while. i liked him initially because he was relatable. Single, hardworking kid who saved to buy a corvette. He has very clearly build a brand and a business around his channel, but it's getting too over the top for me. I'm very close to unsubscribing. I can't relate to owning multiple lamborghini's and vettes and trucks and then destroying a brand new $93,000 truck. I think it's a bad move, but at the end of the day it's his truck to do what he wants (and the views have probably already paid for the truck), no matter how dumb I think it is. I do think this video captures the exact moments that he went from being an automative enthusiast first and a Youtuber second to being a Youtube content creator first and an enthusiasts second.. That jump is something that a Youtuber would do, not an enthusiast.

You do realize he literally just set it on fire right?

They expect to build them at Raptor levels for years, I mean they will hold value, but still depreciate, probably similar to Raptors. They will likely never be worth more than their original MSRP.
The only ones i can see being worth then MSRP are the launch edition ones. If they are parked in a garage or under a truck cover or something and not touched then in about 4-5 years you may be able to get something for it from the right person. beyond that I agree with you.

He is a F#$k stick... clearly makes too much money, refuse to watch the video on principle. He could have jumped a **** box sitting on a milk crate and then raffled the truck off, IMHO. No patience for that type of crap.

On the video where he is talking about the damage on the TRX from the jump, he mentions that the insurance company wrote off the truck, so im thinking he got his $93k back.
Also, youtubers dont actually make a lot of money from views, mostly comes from selling merchandise (which he does), and from ad clicks.

Actually a bit of both, the number of views is factored in to how much ad revenue you get and how many ads are in the video. A million views can vary from a few thousand to over $50,000, it depends on the ads and algorithms of other variables for that particular Youtuber.

I'm curious to how his insurance would write off a truck he purposely damaged and actually pay him for it? Plus I would be skeptical to what he says, he is a known ****** from way back before those recent vids.

He literally just set it on fire, really hope Ram steps in and says something.

Right, theres no way of knowing for sure how much he made from the video, but the views will continue to add up as the video is still new.
Regarding the write off, Mike mentioned it in the video. I would speculate that he wasnt trying to destroy the truck as he’s made that same jump with the raptor, and he still has the raptor. The damage on the TRX was just too much to fix. What I’m trying to figure out though is how he negotiated to keep the truck after the insurance wrote it off. Im guessing he had to pay them to keep it.

He should have set on fire that POS raptor, lol. But he’s really taking it to the next level with these videos though.

The guy is a noted Ford hater, yet he keeps the Raptor and destroys the TRX.

To be fair, it does kill the virus. It just takes the host with it.
This is true, but it only kills the virus that the bleach comes into direct contact with. The remaining virus in the body dies when the host dies. Either way this form of death is natural selection at it's finest.
