How can you check to see if your alarm system is working ?

Use the physical key to unlock the door after it’s locked with the fob. Then open the door.

Lock the truck with the FOB, then take a crowbar and smash a window. If the alarm goes off, there you go, its working.

Just kidding. One way is what Ramtrx suggested above.

You can use the fob to lock the doors while you’re sitting inside the truck . Arm it , wait a couple minutes and open the door .

Lock all the doors with the fob with the window down. Arm it. Reach in and open the door. Crap your pants

Crow Bar did not work, probably because I ordered truck with impact resistant window option .

Either you need more elbow grease (I heard its on sale at O'Reillys this week), or you need a bigger crowbar.
