We're about to purchase a new Big Horn 1500 eTorque wondering if anyone has a good pre-delivery check list. Thanks!

#1 Physically verify everything listed on window sticker (specifically options) you're getting on your vehicle. Not because manufacture wouldn't include, but so you confirm items you WANTED and PAID FOR on vehicle, not what you THOUGHT you were getting. e.g. for me I unfortunately didn't know enough about Ram trucks other than the fact they're currently destroying all other trucks with interior and ride quality, so I assumed things like LED headlights were standard, which they're not on the Lone Star/Big Horn editions, and while I should know better, simply trusted my salesman when I asked "are these LED headlights". He just non-chalantly said "yes" and I never confirmed before closing sale. Was more focused on 12" screen 😂 ...Did end up with an option I initially didn't even think of but now that I have it I wouldn't buy without - the MFT, so guess it was kind of a trade off...I just ended up installing full interior and exterior Lasfit LED bulbs.

Yeah there’s a couple checklists out on the internet, I think someone posted one here a few months ago. Type into the search bar “pdi checklist” and you will see several threads about it.

Another good thing is to have another person with you who isn’t a part of the family/deal so that there is no emotional attachment. That way they are actually looking over the truck in and out instead of getting wowed by the salesperson or the new car delivery rep who is taking 15 minutes to go through 3 hours worth of features (ask me how I know).

What’s interesting is my window sticker does not even mention LED headlights. However not only do I have LED’s I have the “Dynamic” LED headlights, meaning they turn with the steering wheel. I only figured that out because when I was driving down my dark country roads at night I could see the beams moving back and forth. Then I looked at the lamp assembly which is marked “Dynamic LED”.

Like you though I was enamored with the 12” screen, the interior quality and the ride.....😁

Wow, that's awesome. Congrats!...I discovered I had LED tail lights with BLM and my window sticker only stated BLM (no distinction that they were LED tail lights)...This is why I said #1 - physically verify what window sticker says (or doesn't say).
