Hey everyone my truck has been at the dealer all week. When you push the brake pedal you what sounds like a bird chirping, it is an obnoxious noise! When I dropped it off at the beginning of the week they said oh yea we hear that along with a lifter clatter when you start the truck, I only have 8000 miles on the truck, and they said we will get this all fixed. Well I receive a call from this dealership and they say oh there is nothing wrong with your truck so I go out to the dealer and I get in the truck step on the brake pedal and there it goes with the chirping again so I go back in get the assistant service manager and he says I am so sorry I hear it now. So I call and check in on the progress of my truck they said oh we hear it but we do not think anything is wrong, at this point I am talking with the service manager and she states that I could come and get the truck but then states oh wait we are waiting for a brake silencing kit to come in. Has anyone heard of this brake silencing kit? I was hoping someone might be able to give me an assist here with some advice or if RAM watches this forum it would be nice if they could get in contact with me as I feel I am getting a run around here and cannot get answers out of the stealership. It will be interesting to say what they say about the lifter chatter

There was another post on here about that.

There are actually two (2) Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) addressing brake noise. TSB 05-002-19 Brake Anti-moan kit (68446866AA), was issued on April 25, 2019 to address noise from the rear brakes when backing. (TSB enclosed.) This kit includes new hardware.

An earlier TSB 05-001-19 REV A was issued on April 10, 2019 for Rear Brake Noise and calls for replacing the existing brake adaptor, pads, and caliper bolts.

Best regards,
Dusty

Mine would chirp in dry weather, but not in the rain. Took apart the front brake and greased the proper areas, no more chirp. Your dealership, like most, are slimeballs
