Had my Mopar Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover installed today. Came out great. Really loving its fit, ease and accessibility. The part number is #82215254 for the 5’7 Conventional bed. Also put in the RAM bed extender from Mopar. Very happy with both.

That is an expensive Mopar sticker because other then the sticker the Mopar Tonneau Cover ($417 on Amazon) looks identical to the Gator Roll Up Tonneau Cover ($195 on Amazon). :)

I too had the Mopar roll up installed by dealer at a cost of $495. All completed when I picked up the truck a day after it arrived at my dealer.
My dealer had the cover waiting for several months for the truck. May not be the cheapest one, but was assured it would fit my rambox back in May.

Oh, I forgot to add I love the fit. Ramboxes and tailgate work with it.

Sorry, after I looked closer the gator cover sits inside the bed caps not on top and the latch is different.

Haha I honestly didn’t know the price. I worked the cover and extender in as part of the sale of the truck. Finally arrived and had to bring the truck in for them to install. Great cover if it’s in peoples budget I guess.

How’s the water with the Mopar roll up ?

No rain yet.
Visually, it looks like I may see a leak at the sides of the tailgate. Looks like there is a gap on the top sides. It does not appear to be a fit of the cover, more like gate to rambox. I want to look at some other trucks and see if the gap is common on the rambox?? Looks as if a piece of weathetstrip may fix and may be missing.
The cover fits nice and tight.

Has anyone had the Mopar roll up for the Rambox? I'm thinking about that one.

@Phiefer - Do you have pics of your cover to share with @Jobrater, by chance?
Here you go....
I will need to figure out something for the upper tailgate gap. It is not clear to me if it is missing weather stripping or some mechanical part. It sounded like other forums were saying Ram is not shipping clips for the bed-extenders. If this is true, this may be the gap I see. A photo of the gap is included, as well as the tailgate and Rambox areas exposed to the gap.
My dealer charged me $499.40 and they did the install.

Putting your divider in facing backwards will make it hard to steal...but also hard to unlock! :)

Perfect photos! Thank you so much for sharing. I think that will be the best choice for my needs. As to the gap, just keep that Hemi revved up and going down the road. That will keep any rain out.

Thanks again Phiefer!

I’ll let you know next time I get a good downpour

Just had a good downpour for about two hours and I took in a little water towards the the front passenger side of the bed. Not enough to cry over it but still a little depressed about it if I’m being honest.

I was looking to get this for my Ram to carry stuff in the bed like groceries and stuff. I’d be pretty disappointed if rain could get in. Do you think some extra weather strip could help or not?

Would absolutely help. That was a downpour I was in. I’ve been in regular storms and haven’t taken any water in. I love the cover. But remember, there’s no such thing as a waterproof tonneau!
